Top 7 Energy Drinks

How can you sustain energy by drinking something tasty? Why would you want to force yourself to drink something that does not taste good? Everywhere you look, beverage companies are coming out with different variations of energy drinks. From Monster, Rockstar, and Redbull to name a few, we are being bombarded with something new everyday it seems. Below I will list my top 5 energy drinks that I consume on an almost daily basis. (Just not maybe the same day)

It has been awhile since I first wrote this post.  While I was away, I found a new energy drink that takes the award for best energy drink.  Rockstar Recovery is a wonderful lemonade tasting dink that not only packs the punch I yearn, but also help with restoring energy by rehydrating my system.  It is smooth going down with just a hint of puckering as Lemonade should.  Although it leaves me wondering where the limeade version will occur.

The smooth taste and good pick me up bring a new experience to the energy drink world. With most energy drinks that I have tasted, I found there was either a nasty after taste or did not give me enough of a kick to wake me up. Red Berry passes on both of those levels.

Rockstar Fruit Punch is by far my favorite energy drink, well atleast for nastalgia. While growing up, my grandmother always had Minute Maid fruit punch in the refrigerator. When I first tasted Rockstars version, I was immeidately taken back to my youth. While it doesn't taste exactly like it, I am still addicted to this one for both the taste memories and the energy that it gives me.

Rockstar Pomegranate has slowly crept up my list of energy drinks. While I understand that the marketplace is being bombarded with Pomegrante flavors in everything from water to yogurt, this energy drink tastes simply good. The blend of energy drink and juice gives it a great tasting mix that is good to the last drop.

When I first started drinking energy drinks, Full Throttle was my initial choice everytime. Now it has moved a little bit down the scale, but that is not due to a bad product. Full Throttle has always had a good tasting product and with the introduction of the orange flavored version, I found a new choice when I feel like taking a break from the Rockstars. It offers a good tasting energy drink that goes down good anytime of the day or night.

Wired Passion Fruit snuck up on me one day and said "Hi! How are you doing?". I was shopping at the local market and found that these were on sale for a dollar a piece. Everyone that knows me will tell you I am cheap as can be when it comes to spending money. So I had to try this one out. I bought three different flavors of Wired to see which one I liked the best. Now whenever I see them on sale this has become the only one I will drink. It tastes good and definitely gives me that Wired feeling I deisre when trying to get through the day to day ruts.

Amp Lighting is another one of those products that I tried on a whim. I had tried several of the other Amp flavors and did not really get too overly excited about any of them. Than I tried the Lightning when it first came out. I am a big fan of lemonade and this one is definitely a winner. Anytime I get the urge to have a lemonade now, I tend to lean towards Amp Lightning to fullfil that craving.

Energy drinks have become a big part of my life.  Whenever I am tired and weary from the normal day to day grind and need a pick me up, I grab one of these flavors and get a jumpstart to my day.  Now that these are on the market, I cannot even remember how I was able to do it before.
